Canvas: 学习 Management System Implementation Project

| Initiative Summary | 去俄亥俄州, the official app of newbb电子平台, is a web and mobile app that is designed to connect students to their 俄亥俄州 experience, meet students where they are, and provide digital access to key services, important contacts, 支持, and information that 帮助 students succeed. The University-level initiative aligns with the presidential priority to continue improving the student experience and student success and is 支持ed by OIT and cross-functional partners across 俄亥俄州. |

Blue: Course Evaluation Tool Implementation
| 项目总结 | Blue, provided by Explorance, Inc., will replace Class Climate as 俄亥俄州’s preferred course evaluation tool. Blue is expected to improve the security and transparency of the course evaluation process, as well as enhance the user experience for both students and 教师. The selection of Blue was completed during the Survey Technologies Evaluation Project. |

Plagiarism Detection Tool Evaluation Project
| 项目总结 | A teaching and learning technology evaluation project (Request for Proposal) is launching to review the needs of our academic programs, 教师, and students for plagiarism detection. The University has been leveraging Turnitin as its primary plagiarism detection tool and 黑板上 also offered SafeAssign as a solution. |

Cayuse: Electronic Research Administration Software Implementation Project
| 项目总结 | The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is collaborating with the Division of Research and the Department of 金融 to introduce Cayuse, a new electronic research administration software for 俄亥俄州. As part of this transition, the existing system, 利奥, will be gradually phased out over the next few years. The functions currently handled by 利奥 will be replaced by the modules integrated within Cayuse. |

黑板上 Integration Updates
| 项目总结 | Updates to 黑板上 will occur between semesters through December 2023, as vendors replace outdated technology for publisher content and add-ons. Some changes will require instructors to rebuild course content or update links. The changes are spaced over a period of 18 months (May 2022 - December 2023) to minimize disruption and reduce the amount of content instructors need to rebuild at one time. |
